Who can apply for admission to SJI International Preschool?

SJI International Preschool welcomes all children who hold a valid residency pass, be it Dependant Pass, Immigration Exemption Order, Student Pass, Permanent Residents and Singaporeans.

Does the Preschool offer half-day programmes?

The Preschool only offers full-day programme. We understand that parents may want shorter days for your child on certain days that can be accommodated. However, the full day programme fees will still be chargeable.

Are there any fee subsidies?

Singaporeans whose children are aged 2 to 6 in full-day enrolment, may be entitled to a monthly subsidy of $300. Additional subsidies may apply based on a case-by-case basis, to be approved by Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA).

Is there a direct pathway for children in Preschool to the Elementary school?

Children who have attended SJI International Preschool have priority admission to the Elementary School. However, this is subject to the Eligibility Criteria being met.

What is the dress code for children in school?

All children are required to wear the school uniform. Additionally, to educate our young learners about being sun smart, thus reducing the risk of skin damage from exposure to the sun, the Preschool adopts a 'No Hat, No Play' policy.

Will my child have a nap in school?

In the full-day programme, children are expected to rest or nap between 45 to 75 minutes each afternoon. Speak to us about your child's individual requirements.

What is the Preschool's withdrawal and refund policy?

A refundable deposit is payable upon the child’s commencement which shall be repaid in full after deducting any amounts due to the school, provided written notice is served at least 1 calendar month before the child’s last day in school.

Does the school accept children of all faiths/religion?

What is the School Term Calendar?

Our academic year runs from January through December, with 8 days of closure throughout (excluding Public Holidays). Refer to the calendar of events for more details.

Parents and educators communicate regularly and effectively through the parent app, as well as by e-mail and, where possible, face-to-face.

How do I enrol my child for 2026?

If you are keen for your child to join us in 2026 or 2027, simply complete the following Registration of Interest Form and our Admissions team will be in contact shortly with further advice.

We cater to children from 2 years to 6 Years of age. For full breakdown of age appropriate classes, please review the Year Group Placement information.

What is the difference between SJI International Preschool and SJI International Elementary School?

Both schools differ in curriculum, hours, and schedules. The Preschool offers an inquiry-based approach to learning and has extended hours with limited closures, making it ideal for working parents. The Elementary School provides a structured academic curriculum on a term-based schedule.

Are meals served?

Children are served breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea daily. We use a Halal-Certified caterer that offers a menu planned on a quarterly basis. The Preschool adopts a ‘No Nuts’ policy and supports healthy eating by the Health Promotion Board.

Our Preschool, nestled in Holland Rd, offers classrooms tailored to inspire all young learners. The outdoor areas are perfect for gross motor, sensory and messy play. Our urban farming initiative allows our students to experience the "farm-to-table" concept and understanding of eco-friendly practices.

What are the Preschool hours?

Our Preschool operates from 7 AM to 7 PM, Monday to Friday, with the core curriculum running from 9 AM to 5 PM.

What academic programmes are followed by SJI International Preschool?

Our Preschool offers a bespoke curriculum which aligns with both local and international benchmarks for children from Early Years 1 to Kindergarten 2 (ages 3–6). The combination of international and local learning goals prepare children for entry into both the MOE Primary 1 and the SJI International Elementary School.
