Preschoolers Take the Stage as 'Superheroes' at Founder's Day Dinner 2026

The SJI International community recently gathered for our annual Founder's Day Dinner, an evening centred on legacy, leadership and the strength of our Lasallian family.

Bringing together students, staff, governors, parents, alumni and friends of the school, the occasion provided an opportunity to reflect on the life and enduring values of St. John Baptist de La Salle while celebrating the people and community that continue to shape the life of the school today.

Demonstrating the unity of our school community, the evening commenced with the One LaSalle Prayer, proudly led by a cross-divisional group of students, including two of our very own Preschoolers alongside an Elementary School and a High School student.

Among the evening’s features was also a joyful performance by our Preschool Kindergarteners alongside their dedicated teachers. Taking to the stage in special t-shirts spelling out “BE YOUR OWN SUPERHERO”, the children brought warmth, energy and enthusiasm to the celebration. Through their heartfelt performance, they reminded us that each of us has our own unique superpowers and together, we have the ability to make a meaningful impact on the people and world around us.

This wonderful showcase beautifully reflected the joy and positive belief we strive to nurture in our youngest learners. Seeing our Preschoolers shine on such a special occasion was a fantastic celebration of our Lasallian spirit and a memorable moment for everyone in attendance.
